Our Community

The Springfield Anglican College is a welcoming and friendly learning community that encourages involvement between students, parents and staff of the College.

We value our partnerships with parents in the shared education of their children and encourage students to make a personal contribution to society by becoming involved in a range of community activities and each year the College community participates in commemorative ceremonies and fundraising activities.

The College has an ‘Open Door Policy’ and encourages parents to bring forward their concerns and ideas at any stage. This policy is based upon an assumption that within a community that extends beyond several thousand members challenges will come along from time-to-time. What is extremely important, in the best interest of students, is when these challenges do come along the communication channels are in place to quickly find solutions.

We are also extremely fortunate to have a very support and active parent community. The Parents and Friends Association does an excellent job each year across a range ‘friend and fun’ raising activities and on a daily basis students, across both campuses are supported through the endeavours of College parents.

The College also has strong linkages to a range of educational institutions and businesses both with the Greater Springfield Area and the South East of Queensland.
