Outstanding Music Student Accomplishments

The Springfield Anglican College and the Creative Arts Department would like to congratulate Year 12 Creative Arts Captain, Tracie Comber who recently achieved three positions within the Young Music Conservatorium, Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
The Young Music Conservatorium, or Young Con, is an integral part of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and provides much of its pre-tertiary offerings; in addition to providing a developmental conduit for young musicians in the community, from "lesson one" through to graduating into conservatorium studies, or a life that has been enriched with music. All Young Conservatorium ensembles, classes and tuition actively occur at the Queensland Conservatorium South Bank. |

13 music students also undertook their Trinity Music Exams in Term Four 2011 and came away with outstanding results:
The Trinity Music Exams are Individual based and assess performance and technical skills. |
